ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Last updated: 2 September 2026
Our commitment
SULSAL LTD wants everyone to be able to use sulsal.store, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These are the internationally recognised standards for making websites usable by people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive impairments.
We are a small business and our website is a work in progress. This statement is an honest account of where we are, not a claim to be finished.
What we do
Across our website we aim to provide:
- text alternatives for images that convey information
- headings that follow a logical order
- colour contrast that meets the AA threshold for body text
- forms with labels that screen readers can announce
- content that can be navigated by keyboard alone
- text that stays readable when enlarged to 200%
- a layout that adapts to mobile screens and to zoomed browsers
- no content that flashes in a way that could trigger seizures
Known limitations
We are aware of the following issues and are working on them:
- Some product and lifestyle images may have incomplete alternative text.
- Our video content does not currently have captions or transcripts.
- Some interactive elements, including image carousels and the before/after comparison slider, may not be fully operable by keyboard.
- Certain decorative text may fall below the AA contrast threshold at small sizes.
- Third-party features, including our payment checkout and any embedded review or tracking widgets, are controlled by their providers and may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us. We would rather know.
Third-party content
Our store runs on Shopify. Checkout, payment processing, and some app-based features are provided by Shopify and other third parties. We do not control the code behind those elements and cannot guarantee their accessibility, though we do raise issues with providers when we find them.
Getting help
If you cannot access something on our website, or you need information in a different format, contact us and we will help directly.
Email: support@sulsal.store
Tell us what you were trying to do, which page you were on, and what went wrong. We aim to reply within one business day.
We can take orders and answer product questions by email if the website itself is a barrier. You will not be disadvantaged on price or delivery for ordering this way.
Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you find a problem, or you have a suggestion, email support@sulsal.store with "Accessibility" in the subject line.
We treat accessibility reports as a priority and will tell you what we have done about your report.
How we test
[ADJUST THIS SECTION TO REFLECT WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO]
We check our website using a combination of automated tools and manual testing, including keyboard-only navigation and browser zoom. We have not yet commissioned a full independent accessibility audit.
We review this statement whenever we make significant changes to the website.
Legal position
We are a private retailer. Under the Equality Act 2010, service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not put at a substantial disadvantage. This statement, and the direct support offered above, form part of how we meet that duty.
If you believe we have not responded adequately to an accessibility concern, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service:
